since X'mas

we headed to Gili Trawangan

with our travel buddies,

took me a while to complete this layout
as u know i had not been creating lately
nevertheless, still grabbing those mist

and i was inspired by a filmstrip
when i was creating this
so everything was horizontally layered

and those flowers from Prima
love that it add a soft touch to the layout

School's Out

happy sunday sweeties

it had been a great week

although work was tight *as usual*

last Tuesday, it was Adam's last day

of school in his nursery class

gosh, how time flies

that a year just zoom by

on his last day of school

there was a farewell party organised

I took some time off from work

to take some pics

*i can't miss it for a millions*

i attended the parents teachers session

last week

and according to the teachers

adam had progressed real well

during the last 2 semesters

he loves numbers and he is good with it

and he is always brave

to come up in front of the class

and did a show and tell

anytime of the day

so proud of him!!

next year he will be in the

Apple Tree Kindergarten

i really hope that

he will do better in that school

with a much more structured curriculum

firstly thanks to all the comforting

last Monday, i celebrated my 36th birthday

and this year we was a private affair

i took a day off from work

Goodbye is not my Forte

been a tough week for me, mentally

last Tuesday

Chris paternal uncle was in a critical stage

I rushed down to the hospital

and witness how he pass on peacefully

he was so blessed that

all his family members and relatives

was around him

and it touched me soo much

and reminded me of how I witness my dad

passed on many years ago

and it is so heartbreaking

to see your precious one just go off

and you can't do anything about it

RIP uncle Lewis

you will be missed!!

I seldom talked to him but everytime

we meet up and had a conversation with him

he really makes me at ease

and we can't really talk and bond

he is such a caring man

that i still remember he said something to me

and it just made me all so teary :( :(

i am glad that i scrapped

and i am able to pour my emotions

on my layouts

here are 2 layouts that i did for my dad

shared it before in this blog

but would love to share it again

My Lil Assistant

heya sweeties

today marks 18th day of fasting

and that means Aidilfitri is just around the corner

same as any other year

i am always very tired and sleepy

durin Ramadhan

and this year is no different

sigh sigh

my creative table had been abandoned for weeks :(

guess one of those days again

anyway, my darlin Adam

had been such a great assistant to me

during this Ramadhan

he helps with some spring cleaning

and also with some baking

in fact, he enjoyed it to bits :)

and my lil assistant is all set to give a hand

it's Wednesday again

and I did not start off the week well

i had a very severe back pain on Sunday night

that i have to be on sick leave on Monday

guess time to hit the gym again

oh well, no layout to share today

my current obssession now

just can't stop watching the series

and I'm done with the show

look at how much he had grown

he is more fluent with his words now

and i'm kinda of impressed sometimes

on his vocabulary

his teacher even feedback that

he is more comfortable in class now

and he speaks up more often!

so proud of u darlin :)

how time flies huh

soccer & love fever

is all around the house this week

soccer - especially the World Cup

is at the peak this week

me & chris had been following most of the matches

in fact, in Singapore we had to pay

to watch the whole World Cup campaign

and we actually paid for it

for the sake of the soccer fever

I stayed up today morning till 4.30am

to watch the match of Netherlands against Uruguay

and it was all worth while

when the ORANGE won and now move on to the FINALS!!!

tomorrow morning is Spain vs Germany

I'm rooting on Germany to win

but Paul the Physic Octopus

is predicting otherwise

and he had been right so far!!!

in Singapore yesterday

after 4 days of FUN

at the white sandy

and crystal clear water

at Redang Island

we stayed at Berjaya Redang Resort

to be honest I was really impressed

with the resort

big thumbs up to Berjaya!

will dftly make a come back here :)

happy Sunday everyone

i had a great Sun

spending with my boys

although the weather was really hot

but we managed to get shelter

at those airconditioned malls....hehehehe

i finished scrapped this last week

but only got the time to snap

a pic of it today

i just love this pic of Eric, Adam & Chris

taken last Dec at EJ's crib

and coincidently my bestie, Jessy scrapped

adapting a grunchy look for this layout

but added a soft touch

with the Hambly doilies rub-ons :)

and it's Adam's last week of the semester

and he will be having a month break

me and Chris decided to change him to a new sch

next year for his Kindergarten 1

PCF doesn't work for me

here's my take for sketch #102

i gone crazy digging out the old stash

using the Teresa Collins love line

*don't you just love that bold

"True Love" wordings?*

and that AC flowers cut-outs is classic

i was cutting it out from my scraps...hehehehe

i love this prima vines

great colour to mix with my 'pinky' layout

they are just 2 souls that are meant

for each other

my favourite KI Memories lace cs

i always love my lace cs to be white

so that i could ink it & stickled it

and yes these 2 are my

"favourite finds"

and that ssfs owl just add a little spunky

to this layout :)

Adam's 1st Field Trip

when he brought home the consent form

for his 1st field trip

at Jacob Ballas

i was not comfortable letting him go

but after some comforting words

from Chris & Jessy

i finally let him go

in fact, i wanted to 'spy' him

but it got me thinkin

"wati..don't be such a spoilt sport

let him have fun"

so i let him go

of course mom could not stop

snapping some pics away

here are some pics :)

don't know why but Adam look a little sad

that i had been such a bad blogger

life took away all the energy from me to blog :(

actually for the past 2 weeks

i had been haunted by some lumps in my breast

i had blogged about it before

that i had removed a lump 4 years ago

so when i found some lumps again

nightmare starts all over again

went for a couple ultra scans,

a biopsy of fine needle insertion

and finally the result was out today!

it was not cancerous just some tissues

that swell due to hormonal changes

oh gosh...i was so relieved when i heard that

to be honest for the past 2 weeks

i am so not into any mood of doin anything

until i fall sick on Friday thinkin

too much about it

but anyway, i need to see the dr

again in 6 months time

meanwhile....enjoy life!!!

and this lil darlin of mine

surprise me with a lovely flower

for Mother's day

mom commented that his flower

is so colourful compared to the rest

hehehe...i guess he has crafty hands like mom :)

firstly sorry for being such a bad blogger

lately, I kinda of lost track on where had all the hours gone to

it just zoom right in front of my eyes

work is *sigh* guess that says it all

as usual implementing something new

and that involve loads of ground works

but I can do it *of course*

anyway, got up really early last Sat

myself and Adam

was off to a Greeney morning

as my co, DFS had its

Plant A Tree Day at one of the local park

with conjuction with Earth Day

and thought it will be a good exposure for Adam as well :)

Weekend away....

from the hustle and bustle of Singapore

nothing fancy

but the time we spend is just priceless

Chris decided to bring me & Adam

to the Kelong again :)

this time we did so much things there

1. I even pack my crop bag

and carry it all the way there

and I did scrap a 1 1/2 layout :)

2. Adam had his first fight with a fish

3. Adam sat on a kayak for a first time

4. I had a peaceful 3 hrs massage

5. Chris feed us with fishes on every meal

6. I caught a FISH!! yessss....

will post more pics soon

meanwhile, can't resist not posting

Mom is 70!

Mom celebrated her 70th birthday 2 weeks ago

since Dad's passing

I am closer to Mom

and I'm very grateful that she is around

for me anytime of the day

I thank GOD for that

today is the last working day for me for the week

Here I am blogging from the Singapore Airport

flying off to Kuala Lumpur for the Life Workshop at Papier

and of course meeting up EJ as well

oh gesh....I can still remember

blogging about his 3rd birthday here

and now another year had passed and he is 4 :)

this year Adam's birthday is on Friday

and it is more special

as we have Jessy and Eric

coming over from KL to celebrate his birthday

thank you sooo much EJ...love you more for that!!

the celebration begins on Wed night

when EJ reached our humble home

it was dftly a eating holiday for EJ

we brought them to most of the local joints

we had a blast catching up

but unfortunately we meet with an accident

on Adam's birthday

all of us was freaked out when it happen

but thank GOD none of us was hurt

Friday is here again.....and weekend too!!

the past weekdays had been a little lonely

Chris was away on his fishing trip

miss him a lot

but can't wait for him to come back

with all those fishes....woohoooo...
